Are rabbits nocturnal?

Rabbits are not nocturnal, but crepuscular, apparently. The crepuscular means that rabbits are more active in dimly lit early mornings and evenings.

My rabbit, Cinnamon is awake at night and sleep during the day. I have had my rabbit for about 8 years and he slept during the day most days. So I could say that Cinnamon is nocturnal.

If he is tired or stressed, though, he may be napping at night. I'm sure there are individual differences among rabbits.

For my rabbit Cinnamon only, the answer to the question, "Are rabbits nocturnal?" is Yes.
