Rabbit standing up meaning

When my rabbit hears a noise outside the room, he sometimes gets up to check it out.

Just before my family gets home, he notices and after he reacts, the family returns home.

He sometimes stands when I come home.Perhaps he was lonely and happy to see me when I came home.

The most common meaning  rabbit standing up is begging. In that case, the distance is different. He comes much closer to me.

Common reasons given for why rabbits stand up include:

Rabbits often stand up on their hind legs to get a better view of their surroundings. In this context, it could signify that the rabbit is curious or vigilant, checking for potential threats or interesting stimuli.

Sometimes rabbits stand up to communicate with each other. They may do this during social interactions to assert dominance or to signal submission, depending on the situation and the rabbits involved.

Pet rabbits may stand up to get the attention of their owners, especially if they're seeking food, affection, or playtime.
