Why does rabbit thump their back feet

Rabbits thump when they are happy and when they are angry.

Sometimes my rabbit thump at me some reasons:

When he knew he would be fed

When it took me a long time to prepare the feed

When he found out he was going to have his nails cut by me

When Cinnamon is not in a good mood

In general, thumping is a behavior commonly exhibited by rabbits when they sense danger or feel threatened. It involves the rabbit forcefully striking its hind legs against the ground, creating a loud thumping sound.

This behavior serves as a warning to other rabbits in the vicinity that there may be a potential threat nearby. It's a way for rabbits to communicate danger and alert others to stay vigilant or to seek cover.

Thumping can be triggered by various stimuli, such as loud noises, unfamiliar scents, or the presence of predators.
